Structural Design:

Our team of experienced engineers and CAD professionals provide structural design for the types of projects we have developed an expertise in. We limit our work to high-end custom homes, small and medium commercial buildings, multi-family buildings and parking structures, and specialty structures (bridges, towers, enclosures, retaining walls, etc.). We use the latest technology and knowledge of code requirements to provide sensible designs. Typically Vector Structural Engineers provides stamped calculations and drawings and any other construction documents requested by the client. We have an engineer licensed in every state and many of our clients are national or regional.

Detailed Drawings:

Our standard structural design includes detailed structural drawings and details. Our goal is to avoid creating a painful IQ test for the contractor and to solve construction challenges before construction begins.

Value Engineering:

Typically we create an initial layout of each project that is reviewed in-house for value engineering opportunities. Our engineers communicate with our clients about ideas where minor architectural revisions could result in significant construction cost savings.

Site Visits/During Construction Services:

Vector Structural Engineers provides prompt responses to clients' concerns and questions through the life of the project. We do not 'nickel & dime' our clients for services and minor changes during construction. We keep our clients informed and we respond quickly to phone calls, RFI's, plan check comments, and submittals - maintaining a sense of urgency throughout your project. In addition, one of our experienced engineers will be available to meet with you in the office and on site.

Customer Service:

Vector Structural Engineers is a service-driven company. We take project schedules very seriously during both the design and construction phases. Our experience, efficiency, and relative low overhead allow us to keep our fees very competitive - often coming in at hundreds or even thousands below comparable engineering firms' bids. The following are typically included in our initial design fee: truss review, mix design review, steel shop drawing review, plotting for submittal, and minor fix letters.
